Plant Habit
- Leaves: 4-6, up to 55 cm long, 9 cm wide, uniformly green
- Inflorescence: several-flowered, opening sequentially, up to 30 cm long, purple, white-pubescent
- Bloom: 9-12 cm wide

Notes:
- The number of registered hybrids with Paph. moquetteanum is low because the hybrid registrar at the RHS has only recently recognized it as a different taxon from Paph. glaucophyllum.
- The correct spelling of this taxon hinges on whether or not the name of the plantation owner is Moquette (as in Braem 2003) or Moquett (as in Cribb 1998).
