Paphiopedilum spicerianum (Masters & Moore) Pfitzer
- Described: Masters & T. Moore in Gardener's Chronicle, 2nd series, 12: 505 (1879), based on a plant sent to Mr. and Lady Spicer from their son, the owner of a tea plantation in Assam
- Transferred: Pfitzer in Pringsheim, Jahrbcher fur wissenschaftliche Botanik, 19: 164 (1888)
- Etymology: Named for Mr. and Lady Spicer, in whose greenhouses the species first flowered in Europe.

Plant Habit
- Leaves: 4-5, 15-30 cm long, 3-6 cm wide, above glossy dark green, below purple-spotted at the base
- Inflorescence: 1- (rarely 2-) flowered, 8-22 cm long, sparsely pubescent
- Bloom: 5-7 cm wide
