Paphiopedilum adductum Asher
- Described: Asher in Orchid Digest, 47(6): 213-236 (1983)
- Etymology: Named for the shape of the staminode, which is strongly adducted (i.e., bent backwards at a severe angle, as opposed to the wide angle present in the staminode of Paph. rothschildianum).

Plant Habit
- Leaves: 6, 23-26 cm long, ~4 cm wide, dark green with a paler margin
- Inflorescence: 2-3 flowered, 20-34 cm long, purple, pubescent
- Bloom: 6-10 cm wide, 14-18 cm tall
