Paphiopedilum parishii (Reichenbach fil.) Stein
- Described: Reichenbach fil. in Flora, 52: 322 (1869), discovered in 1859 in Burma; imported to England by Low in 1868.
- Transferred: Stein in Stein's Orchideenbuch, 479 (1892)
- Etymology: Named for its discoverer, Reverend Charles Parish, an Anglican missionary in Burma.
- Varieties & Forms: none confirmed, although I have heard rumors of an albino

Plant Habit
- Leaves: 5-8, up to 45 cm long, 4-8 cm wide, uniformly green
- Inflorescence: 3-12 flowered, 30-50 cm long, pale green, densely white-pubescent
- Bloom: 9-11 cm wide, 12-14 cm tall
