Notes
- Paph. stonei var. platytaenium is a single clone that probably represented a genetically stable peloric mutation. The plant consistently produced blooms in which the petals were replaced by partially-formed lips. Fowlie (1986) suggested that it might have been a hybrid with Paph. lowii or Paph. hookerae.
